Animation “Chrysalis” Score

‘Chrysalis’ is a 3D animation written and directed by Rachel Baker, an animator at Weta FX from New Zealand. Niu joined Rachel’s design team in 2020 and composed the entire soundtrack for the film. In 2021, the film premiered at the Roxy Cinema in Miramar, Wellington. Below are some development footages. The refined version was completed nearly five years later, in March 2025.
